![]() ![]() Upon leveling up, you can spend points on a variety of skills in order to enhance them. The mod introduces a new system that allows players to gain experience and level up their characters. This highly ambitious mod essentially overhauls the game’s progression system and lets you play it like an RPG. This is one of the most well-known mods out there and with good reason. If you’re a builder, make sure to grab this one asap. Using this mod you can build bigger and better structures pretty much anywhere in the world. Some of the main features you can expect here include quick interaction, blueprint customization, the ability to build structures anywhere, and more. The aim of this mod is to enhance all the blueprints present in the game by allowing players to do more with them. Well, as far as the map will allow you in any case. Infinite Zipline does just what it says and allows you to travel as far as you want using ziplines. However, if you’re more interested in fun and convenience than things that make sense we highly recommend this mod. In the vanilla game, you are fairly limited in regards to how much you can travel via zipline. Ziplines are not only a very convenient and efficient way of traversing the environment but they are also extremely fun to use just for kicks. Although that tends to make The Forest more suspenseful and challenging, which is what you want from a survival game, it also has the potential to become very annoying after a while. The vanilla version doesn’t feature a map and that makes it very easy to feel lost and disoriented. The mod does exactly what you would expect and adds a comprehensive map of the game world. We’re kicking off this list of The Forest mods with a pretty self-explanatory one. But if you’re already a seasoned veteran, the mods below will give you something new to look forward to the next time you boot up the game. If you’ve never played the game before it’s probably a good idea to try out the vanilla version first before installing any mods. We also added download links for each of them to make things even easier for you. With that in mind, we rounded up some of the top Forest mods you can grab right now and place them all into a neat little list for you to enjoy. Despite its relatively young age, however, there are already a handful of mods out there that are definitely worth picking up if you want to spice up your game a little bit. The open-world survival game officially launched a little over a year ago so people have yet to come up with a ton of modifications for it just yet. Currently the in game map with this version isn't working yet, but I'll figure it out why and update that in a hot fix hopefully soon here.Īnd of course, Arcadia is still right where it's always been, lots of ruins and such there for you to explore still.Finding great The Forest mods can be a bit difficult since these games modding hasn’t been around for as long as those of other titles. (This is because there's no great place to put The Forest that immediately works without tons of other map incompatibilities) BUT - regardless you will be able to utilize this world for events or what have you in MP if that is your desire, while maintating the vanilla map as an area. ![]() But good news for all ya'll who have been asking about attaching this to the vanilla, I've added support for it to share the same lots of Muldruagh, KY - though they are connected in spirit, they are seperated by a an empty void - the only way to travel back and forth between these areas is server side teleportation. I've also scrapped The Old Forest as it was jank and terrible. ![]() Hello everyone! NEW UPDATE: Thanks to the amazing Queit Lerlyn, South of Arcadia there is now a zone known as "Yagodnyy" - named for a village that lies at it's heart, nearby a rather large lake.
