Through experimentation, we demonstrate the efficacy of this approach in enhancing the model's adaptability and reducing the influence of biased information on generated completions and encourage the model to adopt alternative pathways of generalization. Rather than explicitly identifying and discarding misinformation, the model periodically forgets arbitrary facts, allowing biases to organically dissipate over time. This paper introduces a novel approach to mitigate contextual bias by leveraging selective memory loss, inspired by human cognitive processes. While I disagree with the conclusion above, the problem is very real. This was largely because OpenAI’s original idea of a helpful assistant was one that’s always subservient." Keep an eye out for this weekend's research article! It addresses a significant challenge in Large Language Models (LLMs), where the presence of erroneous information within context data can lead to a persistent distortion in completion accuracy.Ĭonsider the problem as outlined by Kahn Academy: "If a user told GPT that 5 + 7 = 90, it would shrug and agree. statsetbyname kills 420 // Changes the amount of kills you have. statsetbyname score 420 // Changes your total score. statsetbyname plevel 1-15 // Changes Prestige. I also own 2 copies of the game, i just copied the folder and installed redacted lan. 'xpartygo' command works only when Im playing by myself. Just to mention, if you change any stat, it will effect the files and you will have to restart over. But for the xpartygo thing, it should work perfectly. Also make sure you both are connected to the same VPN so it creates the LAN connection. (it's already breaking records of upvotes □) Make sure both you and your friend are on the latest version of Redacted. Read the full paper and check for the updates here: ➡️ I expect this architecture to take the world by storm.Īnd probably more startups like Groq will be created to propose new hardware optimized for this architecture. Question Redacted - Constant 'Unhandled exception caught' errors. Of course, with reduced size + the ability to add instead of multiply, this 1-bit encoding creates huge gains: □ And this works amazingly well: implemented in a 3B parameters architecture, their 1-(ternary)-bit model is competitive with a full-size 3B model. ➡️ So they said "Maybe we went a bit (lol) extreme: let's backtrack and add more numbers": each parameter is now a "ternary bit" in. □ Obviously it did not reach good performance at first: encoding all parameters as a 0 or 1 loses too much information compared to floats. On top of reduced parameter size, it would have the great benefit to make matrix multiplications calculable as much faster additions! □□ "Why not encode each parameter on 1 bit?" Now a bunch of Microsoft researchers decided to go full berserk: But although you can reduce your encoding from 32 to 16 bits, going to 8 or even 4 bit was really difficult and came with performance drops. 'THE FUTURE IS BLACK.' Official tag line Call of Duty: Black Ops II, is a first-person shooter developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. When you want to make your LLM lighter and quicker, you reduce the number of bits on which each parameter is encoded. Microsoft researchers just published the most important discovery in LLMs for a long time: 1 bit is enough to store LLM weights! ⇒ Is this the end of GPUs? (NVIDIA stockholders beware!) I think Treyarch are trying to make something more dynamically driven so that users don't have to go out an get an CCIE to play BO2. Hekc most people don't even understand how the lagometer works in TF2. But realistically is it helpful for people to give them access and make them fumble about with 15 different lag parameters without any context? Tweaking that is 50% black magic 50% black box magic. I mean I get that console access would be nice. There may not even be things like a lagometer in the game so console access wouldn't help anyway. Also access tot he console implies that such options are even available. Your 2nd post is a different matter all together but don't refute my point by moving the goalpost. For the things you mentioned, console access isn't necessary. Everything else in your post that I replied to is available in the regular options. The only thing in your post that isn't there is a lagometer. 90% of the things you mentioned are available via the settings. You mentioned NONE of those things in your post.
